It's focus is connecting clients to the solutions and expertise they need to effectively manage financial risk and best engage their employees.As the EVP of Employee Benefits for Christensen Group, I had the privilege of managing a strategic, innovative and collaborative team of professionals. Responsibilities included:Delivering Great Outcomes: We took a strategic approach to the RFP process, making sure potential client’s goals were optimized (carrier negotiations including performance guarantees, rate caps, network selection, plan design and H&W solution integration). We also ensured a smooth implementation and group employee on boarding process, while maximizing group employee adoption of H&W solutions.Exceeding Service Expectations: The consultancy and service teams work closely with the sales team to provide ongoing strategic advice (claims reporting, high cost case analysis, pharmacy analysis, and trend projections), operational support (claims issue resolution, prior authorization negotiation, benefit reviews, claims auditing), and group employee engagement (open enrollment support, employee benefit utilization, and engagement in H&W solutions).Driving Employee Engagement: We ensured that clients had the ideal open enrollment material and we worked closely with carrier partners to launch marketing campaigns to generate employee engagement.
