Collaborated with hardware team to complete daily troubleshooting, testing, and board bring-ups using various testbench equipment such as an oscilloscope, soldering station, waveform generator, power supply, and multimeter. Developed an LTC signal generator and reader to streamline the time code testing for the motherboard. Programmed the generator onto an Arduino, implementing bit fields and interrupts to simulate an LTC signal with 80 bits. Utilized Verilog on an FPGA board to decode the 80-bit values of an LTC signal using the internal clock and sequential logic. Constructed block diagrams of the motherboard’s systems and its high-level connectivity. Worked with senior engineers to simplify hardware knowledge for the software engineers, improving communication between the teams.
