As a Co-Founder and Design Lead at Motherdog, I managed all aspects of our design-build studio, specializing in thoughtful and functional home accessories. I integrated advancedTechnologies like CAD and 3D printing and traditional methods streamline production and ensure product quality.My responsibilities included designing tooling and molds, developing manufacturing processes, and creating a compelling website and social media presence to engage our target market. Additionally, I developed pricing models and handled the financial management to ensure the company’s successand sustainability.

I led a small team in outfitting spaces with custom interiors and furnishings, collaborating closely with a local entrepreneur to enhance value in a small-town environment. My roleinvolved working directly with clients to assess their needs and priorities, managing budgets and timetables, and overseeing the schedules of multiple simultaneous projects to ensuretimely and effective delivery.

Chosen by SCAD to design and build a furniture collection for international sale, I successfully created, constructed, and marketed a series of small furniture pieces. I presented the collection to an international clientele and the college president, receiving valuable feedback. The project wascompleted under budget and on schedule, and I effectively advertised the collection to a global audience.

I was responsible for building luxury lighting fixtures and assisting in product development, where I trained team members on fabrication techniques and best practices. I collaborated with teams to troubleshoot issues and develop design solutions, refined manufacturing processes, and contributed to design decisions. My role ensured the timely delivery and high quality of the products.
