I am most passionate about understanding the motivations, desires and idiosyncrasies behind human behavior. This curiosity drives me to dive into data and generate meaningful insights that enable brands to reach people on a deeper level. I believe that data is simultaneously foundational and transformational — an instrument that allows us to visualize the human experience as a vibrant mosaic.After earning my undergraduate degrees in Advertising and Public Relations at Southeast Missouri State University and my masters degree from Maryville University, I went on to work toward my Ph.D in Mass Communication at the University of Florida. I concurrently worked in a strategic communications agency during that time and ultimately realized that I was already doing exactly what I wanted to do without a doctorate degree. I took my training and got started in the industry. I have collaborated with and led teams working on integrated digital and channel strategies for major brands including Bud Light, Stella Artois, Johnson and Johnson, Slack, Philips and others. I have been a part of numerous quantitative and qualitative research efforts (including survey design, interviews and data analysis) as well as robust measurement projects of all varieties (such as user research, social media audits, data coding and more). I continue to be motivated by opportunities that allow me to merge my research and strategy acumen with creative storytelling to create tangible business impact.
