My PhD project aims to study and develop a real-time pilot monitoring system based on the biosignals processing for pilots’ mental workload assessment. It consists of developing a predictive model through AI algorithms in Python to integrate into the next generation of fighters and Single Pilot Flights.

PipeIn is a startup founded in Turin in September 2019 together with five students of the Polytechnic of Turin and University of Turin. My role in TXT GROUP was to design an autotuning system for a closed-loop controller integrated with a helicopter flight simulator. I worked in the Training & Simulation business unit as Aerospace Software Engineer developing a model written in MATLAB – Simulink and C++ environment. My work was validated by the company, delivered to customers, and integrated into the TXT simulator.
