About Gabriele Basei
Born and raised near Belluno and the Dolomites, in close contact with snow, trees, nature, wood and rocks, I have always been passionate about materials, production techniques and products. Graduated with honours at Politecnico di Milano in Design for Innovation, in 2014 I founded EPOCA brand, a collection of anticonventional outdoor products. My design approach is based on the close collaboration between designer and craftsmen and between the use of traditional techniques with an eye on new production methods. Curious chronic, I deal with design and product development since 1989.
