I lead and managed the Digital Systems Team. Ensuring the delivery of highly available, cost efficient, reliable & secure suite of digital orientated strategy and services to the Simplot Business. I provided specialist support in order to maximise the value that the digital services and communications environments will provide to Simplot Australia.Successful implementation of Salesforce.com and websites across the different brands that Simplot Australia owns.

Team leader across all Carsales Ltd. brands (eg. Carsales.com.au, motoring.com.au, quicksales.com.au, bikesales.com.au, boatsales.com.au, etc.). The current development team I am in charge consists in 14 people including developers, designers and project managers, where we develop new features for Carsales.com.My main focus is to help the team to deliver on time and on budget every project to maintain the Carsales.com brand as the number 1 brand in the automotive market. I am also the release manager of Carsales websites, where I am in charge of the improvements of the release process. Some of the achievements while in this role:• Implemented continuous integration process, by reducing releases in smaller pieces of effort applying them frequently improving quality and time to market.• Replaced the once every two weeks release process to be able to deploy Carsales.com on a daily basis.• Daily communication with major stake holders about the release status.• Implemented rollback & emergency procedure plans.• Built constant build process to maintain stable the source code of applications.• Improved communication between Development and QA teams.

The project I have been involved was the complete revamp of an online diet profiling system with morethan 10,000 current users. The new version of the site will be launched by mid-February.My main responsibilities at Shout are:- Working closely with the managers to assess project needs and turn these businessrequirements into structured, scalable web applications delivered within an agreed timeframe.- Creation of technical documentation, UML (Unified Modeling Language) diagrams, ERD (EntityRelationship Diagram) Models and concept diagrams encapsulating the business needs of theproject.- Analyzing the current system, planning the new features, coordinating the team of designers- Web development (.NET) of three-tier web-based applications and migration of current users from existing application.- Maintaining/updating/troubleshooting current web site.Used technologies: The application was rebuilt using ASP.NET C# 4.0, AJAX, LINQ, JQuery,JavaScript, SQL 2008 and XML.
