I'm an adventurer, a geek, and a nerd who is keen to learn as much as I can about the world and help others discover the value of knowledge. I love traveling the world in between helping others and pursuing my current goal of becoming a librarian.As an organized and detail-oriented person, I loved my paging position at my local library. I take pride in returning items to their proper place and examining items for damage so that information may be accessible and enjoyable. I now get to work more closely with the community as library associate by answering questions and creating positive, informative programs. As accessible as information may be, information can still be a challenge to understand. Working one-on-one with students to understand their studies is my favorite way to share my love of learning. While tutoring will not be my main profession, it is unlikely that I will cease helping students.I like helping students because I am one myself. Since I know knowledge comes from a variety of sources, I attended community college for my Associate of Arts, then I transferred to a university to complete my bachelor’s degree in business management, after which I will continue my education and obtain a master’s degree in library science.I am excited about my current career path, but I am an adventurer at heart, so I may take pick up a few side quests along the way.
