Managing an upscale Malaysian restaurant in downtown New Haven was both challenging and gratifying. As GM I was responsible for all of the restaurant's daily operations including supervising staff, reconciling sales, generating P&L's, budgeting, marketing, payroll, and purchasing. Bentara restaurant caters to the Yale University community and has been showcased by ZAGAT, The Wine Spectator, The Wine Enthusiast, and The New York Times.

My responsibilities as a Territory Manager included cold calls, price negotiations/bids, sales strategy development, menu planning, and collections. Starting in 1996 with no active accounts, my goal was to build a client base and maximize profits in the sale of restaurant supplies and equiptment.
