My research efforts aimed at enhancing enterprise organization effectiveness, particularly through the utilization of Azure Open AI APIs, advanced metric collection, and DORA analysis.A significant portion of my work involved integrating API endpoints such as ServiceNow, Azure Application Insights, SonarQube, and leveraging GPT to streamline processes, improve decision-making, and enhance overall project visibility. Additionally, I focused on automating SOC 2 compliance evidence and provided mentorship to junior team members in C#, Power BI, Open AI GPT, and Power Automate.My contributions extended to utilizing ServiceNow APIs and contributing to a C# services in DevOps, demonstrating my dedication to operational efficiency and proficiency in harnessing AI for intelligent service management solutions. Furthermore, I played a key role in creating Power BI Dashboards that consolidated DORA metrics for directors and project management, facilitating informed decision-making.

Worked in a self-managed team. Implemented Oauth Identity Server within React JS and .Net applications. Supported C# and Python Django applications by implementing changes in AWS EC2 hosts. Created React JS components. Created and implemented user and performance monitoring strategies using Mix Panel, Google Analytics, Log Rocket, and Azure Application Insights. Developed .Net Core API applications and ASP.Net MVC applications. Managed 2 offshore developers. Implemented cost savings by shrinking AWS Postgres database. Wrote and troubleshooted MS SQL server queries. Created Azure Logic Applications. Administered Microsoft Azure Cloud security at the resource and subscription levels. Imported and performed conversions on GIS data from Microsoft SQL server to Postgres. Assisted in migrating the team from a support ticket Kanban workflow to using Scrumban planning.

My work at NextGear was within a high-performing team that was self-managed and practiced a high degree of accountability. All work that was performed had to be accounted for using project management systems such as Jira and Rally, and all time was logged within fifteen-minute intervals. I was expected to work within an interconnected and complex variety of architectures and platforms. All training within these platforms was self-directed with little existing documentation and had to be accomplished within a short time frame.While at NextGear, all software was deployed using CI/CD automation systems, such as Atlassian Bamboo or Jenkins, which I was expected to troubleshoot and maintain. Often, I was assigned to research complex problems between microservice, database, and logging systems to diagnose root cause issues. Research had to be well-documented and could take up to forty days. Additionally, I was requested to develop C#, Java Spring Boot, and Microsoft SQL features. All feature development had to be documented and rigorously peer-reviewed by at least four developers. No production access was given unless the need was formally documented and deemed acceptable. I also assisted in developing test cases and practiced test-driven development when possible.

My focus has been on developing a client-facing mobile app using C# Web API and Angular 2 & Ionic for load tracking logistics. Prior to that, I developed a C# REST to AS400 ETL bridge application for Celadon's paperless invoice scanning system. In 2015, I was the lead developer and architect for the responsive employee portal for the driver division using C# with 2.5k weekly users. I also architected and coded the mobile load assignment web system with 1.3k users. I assist other developers with data mining, SQL query development, IIS management, UI/UX approaches, code refactoring, interfacing with AS400/iSeries via the data layer, and application performance metrics. I instructed the marketing department on Google analytics usage and guided in the development of key performance indicators.

Architected new software applications in ASP.NET to replace existing legacy applications. Gathered requirements from department leaders and created software solutions. Developed .Net and SSRS reports using complex SQL queries. Troubleshooted and developed import and migration SSIS and DTS packages. Improved performance and re-factored inline/adhoc SQL to stored procedures, views, and UDFs.
