Responsible for managing the Latin America Zone Tax Department, which includes operations in Argentina, Brasil, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, and Ecuador.

Responsible for managing the Corporate Tax Department, which includes operations in Argentina, Uruguay, Ecuador, EE.UU, Italy, Marruecos and Armenia. This responsibility has included:• Centralisation of the Tax Planning for the companies and countries in which the group operates, including the technical criteria and manage the strategy of the answers in the Tax Authority audits.• Definition of the tax aspects related with the cross borders transactios• Preparation, with the tax advisors and lawyers, of the documents when companies discuss with the Tax Authorities (Administrative and Legal)• Restructuring of the subsidiaries in each country, by mergers or escisions, making tax savings or optimizing the tax losses carry forwards.• Optimising the Company’s effective tax rate, when it is possible, according with the opportunity’s that the law allows.• Being in charge with the tax advisors and lawyers, of the tax aspects when the companies discussed the contracts of Licenses or Adquisitios with the Sellers or their Advisors.
