My previous research interests lie in high energy and plasma physics, and the formation, growth, and evolution of large-scale structure of the Universe. By exploring these interests and publishing multiple first author papers, I have developed many professional and interpersonal skills. These skills include: expertise in data reduction and analysis techniques using popular coding languages such as python and matlab, great proficiency in the communication of not just my results but in group environments that require collaboration, and a quick thought process that is always looking for efficient and meted out solutions to seemingly difficult problems. I've recently applied my skills more in the data science sector and am enamored by machine learning, natural language processing, and solving problems. My goal is to apply these skills to develop data driven solutions and algorithms for real world problems.
