I am a current senior at Tulane University, originally from Dallas, Texas. I am a dual degree candidate, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in French. I am also in Tulane SPHTM’s BSPH/MPH combined degree program, intending to study Epidemiology. Passionate about improving health equity in marginalized communities, I have honed my primary data collection skills as a research assistant for the Lupus Education Alliance Program study. I am an experienced social justice facilitator through the Community Engagement Advocates program with a proven track record of navigating challenging conversations and facilitating dialogue across diverse audiences. Working as the program’s Research Coordinator, I have coordinated DEI facilitations for thousands of first-year students and synthesized feedback data to support program restructuring initiatives. With a strong background in collaborative work and data collection, I intend to combine my passions for healthcare and social justice, forging a career dedicated to interrogating the social determinants of health and designing community-led programming.
