After completing my BA (Media, Communications & Culture) degree at Nelson Mandela University, I relocated to Cape Town and worked my first position as an in-house graphic designer. After 6 months in the industry, my wanderlust got the better of me. I bought a one-way ticket and spent a year abroad exploring, expanding my worldview and defining a stronger sense of self. Fast forward three years, I’m ecstatic to be back in beautiful Cape Town, now working for myself as a Designer, Content Creator & Digital Marketer for several international brands.-I am passionate about creating beautiful visual content, from unique and meaningful branding, to aesthetically impactful designs for online marketing. I believe a strong online presence through cohesive social media and good web design, is an essential asset for any brand in today´s technologically-driven society. I am an illustrator and I love incorporating hand-drawn and lettered elements into my work to bring a personalized feel.I believe the most genuine beauty is found in the details - in our everyday, seemingly mundane and ordinary moments. I try my best to live simply and mindfully and to carry this ethos through into my designs. A life filled to the brim with authenticity, fuelled by passion and courage and covered with a ton of grace for the necessary mistakes along the way. To me, this honest, gentle, real mode of being is true living. When I’m not sipping on a delicious cup of something warm whilst designing, you’ll probably find me out in nature, running, reading or on a long walk. Nature is where I relax, reboot and reconnect with myself and my surroundings. Fresh air and beautiful scenery give me the space to breathe and find new design inspiration.
