I am currently a Year 2 student at Republic Polytechnic's School of Technology for the Arts, working towards a diploma in Design for Games and Gamification.I've held a passion for both video games and drawing ever since I was a child. After secondary school, I decided to pursue my love for both by joining my current diploma course - here, I learned about how to effectively use industry-relevant tools such as Adobe Photoshop and the Unity game engine. This helped me to widen my horizons and hone my skills in both areas, as well as allowing me to gain better proficiency in digital art and cultivate a love for it.Other than drawing or playing video games, I also have reading short stories as a hobby. I usually read creative writing works on curated online forums, such as r/nosleep on Reddit. Reading these stories helps me to generate ideas for my own works, and helps me to maintain an open mind by giving me new insights and perspectives on differing people or situations.Ultimately, my goal in life is to be the best version of myself for the people around me and to foster happiness in them and myself with my work.
