I obtained my bachelors degree at Louisiana Tech in Psychology. I moved to Amsterdam to invest in an international culture while pursuing my Research Master's degree in Clinical and Developmental Psychopathology. I completed a second masters in Clinical Psychology to integrate research and clinical experience. I have a passion for helping others, especially vulnerable populations and those from less privileged countries. Specifically, I have an interest in trauma and the translation from academia to implementation within communities of various cultures. I worked as a junior lecturer at the VU in Amsterdam where I had the goal to inspire up and coming future psychologists to find their passion and direction. I am currently providing mental health care as an online wellness counselor for MeTime Healing. I approach my sessions with cognitive and behavioral techniques, while tailoring my sessions to the needs of each client.I am lastly working full time as the lead psychologist at Bright Bird. This involves tailoring individual sessions to various mental health problems using CBT based strategies.
