About Gabrielle Lamb
My library career started quite late, once I finished studying, backpacking, and working for a Telco. I began in document delivery and off-campus services and was seconded into a leadership role in the institutional repository. I realised I enjoyed being front-of-house and working directly with researchers so I moved to rural NSW for my first liaison opportunity. I developed confidence in presenting before large student and researcher audiences and honed my research, teaching, and learning support skills. Back in Melbourne now I am focused on AI and systematic reviews in addition to academic support in the health disciplines. Eventually, I would like to work closer to home in Ballarat.
