I teach with kids ages 4-12 about the species we see around camp, environmental services and the importance of environmental health. To do so, I plan and prepare educational activities that can be done outdoors.

Helped set up and prepare daily classroom activities for a medicinal plants class that had 20 students.

I worked here part-time as a teaching assistant. I spent most of my time in the early toddler room, however, I also helped out in the older toddler and preschool rooms when needed. I helped teach the kids gross and fine motor skills, as well as learn songs, letters, and numbers.

I researched and presented to a group of 70 people on 20 plants that can help women cope with the changes their body goes through at different stages of their life cycle. I also did additional research on medicinal plants that can help lessen the pain and effects endometriosis has on body.
