Award-winning fourth-year apprentice in my final year working as a mechanical engineer at Carnaud Metalbox Engineering. Passionate about learning and am always eager to expand my knowledge wherever I can, which is why I am always seeking new opportunities to enhance both my knowledge and my skillset to continually develop myself. With hopes to begin my degree soon, I am determined to become a lifelong learner so I can always be developing and improving myself.As a student, I completed a work experience programme at Fives Landis, which was weekly placements over the course of a year. Within this time, I was able to familiarise myself with the work carried out in each area and have a good understanding of the job roles within each team, this allowed my to work alongside employees and apprentices within the Assembly Department - assisting putting machines together is what helped to push me to my decision of choosing an apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering.
