Assistant Director Of Sales
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the brand and management company’s policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, assisting, and directing activities; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Conducts and participate in the required company standard meetings, including daily stand-up meeting, daily business review, weekly Sales Meeting, bi weekly Funnel Call and weekly one-on-ones with the sales/catering managers, and Director of Sales.Assist the Director of Sales & Events with training and motivating sales managers and hotel staff with their job performance and knowledge, including general group sales principals, group function requirements, rate quotes, site management, sales call preparation and proposal/contract development.In the absence of the Director of Sales & Events, attends in-house management meetings and manages the day to day responsibilities of the sales office.Contributes consistent monthly sales production revenue and contributes significantly to the hotel’s production goals. Development and implementation of SMART Plans for all direct sales market segments. Conducts prospecting & solicitation activities, including outside sales calls to cultivate existing customers and accounts and develop new business.Ensures systems are established and in place to respond to customer needs within a defined response period. Including telephone inquiries, bids, proposals, confirmation of bookings, follow up communication, etc.Develop and maintains a clean funnel and activity tracing within the assigned sales system to ensure all sales activity is defined, recorded, traced, and updated in an organized
