Currently, I am fulfilling a long-time passion as Associate Lower School Head at the Quad Preparatory School-fusing my educational background and love of collaborating and working closely with my peer educators. I have taken on a supervisor role and have the opportunity to mentor lower school teachers and partake in curriculum work, programming, and the day-to-day endeavors that take place at Quad.I am an experienced Teacher with a demonstrated history (over 15 years) of working in early childhood and elementary education. Skilled in Classroom Management, Lesson Planning, Differentiated Instruction, and Curriculum Development. I am a strong education professional with a Master of Education - MEd focused in Curriculum and Instruction from American College of Education and a Master of Science - MS focused in Early Childhood Special Education. I have both worked as a classroom teacher and a one-on-one Special Education Teacher Support Services (SETSS) teacher. In addition to my work inside the classroom, I have participated in a wealth of professional development opportunities ranging from Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, to Literacy, to Differentiation, to Math instruction to meditation and mindfulness. Furthering my own education is something I am passionate about. I have also mentored other teachers in the classroom and strive to collaborate and learn from and with those with whom I work.
