Began competing in national level meets in 2011 before making my international debut a year later at the Hong Kong Synchronized Swimming Open Competition. What followed was an additional four years of competitive swimming including the following international meets:- Oceania Swimming Championships (2014) – Auckland, New Zealand- COMEN Mediterranean Cup (2015) – Ostia, Italy- Oceania Swimming Championships (2016) – Suva, Fiji- FINA Junior World Championships (2016) – Kazan, RussiaAt national meets, I placed first in the Figures Competition (a technical component scored in conjunction with routine elements) in the following years: 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016.At my peak, I trained 3 mornings and 4 afternoons during the week with an additional 5 hours on Saturdays. In total, this amounted to around 21 hours of training per week on top of class hours and study. Intensive training camps would run for 3-4 weeks at various interstate locations including the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in Canberra.I made the decision to retire from the sport in 2016 after the FINA Junior World Championships to explore other pathways and focus on my career.
