Gabi is a Sustainability Consultant, her professional focus includes recycling and resource recovery, strategy and implementation, as well as sustainable marketing and PR. With this diverse skill set, she is geared to make sustainable changes within organizations while also effectively advocating for these efforts to enhance business awareness.Gabi is particularly drawn to projects that drive significant shifts in behaviours towards environmental improvements for both individuals and businesses. Her consulting work involves assisting businesses in resource diversion practices and providing innovative suggestions for resource management and recycling. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and has pursued additional education through a Diploma in Sustainability.Throughout her career, Gabi has been involved in various EPA and DPIE (Department of Planning, Industry, and Environment) funded projects, such as Waste Less Recycle More, Industrial Ecology, and Love Food Hate Waste, further solidifying her commitment to environmental sustainability.More recently, Gabi has teamed up with The Stable Group to contribute her environmental consulting expertise to the CRJO (Canberra Regional Joint Organisation), representing the 11 regional NSW councils encircling the ACT. Her main area of focus has been the development of a circular economy strategy aimed at tackling the issues associated with hard-to-recycle plastics, as well as food and garden organics. This initiative underscores her commitment to implementing sustainable practices and nurturing environmentally conscious solutions within regional NSW.
