I graduated from Illinois State University in May 2020 with dual degrees in Marketing and Fashion Merchandising. I also gained a lot of leadership experience through multiple organizations during my time at ISU! I moved to the Milwaukee area at the end of June 2020 and started a position at Kohl’s Corporate offices as a Digital Vendor Coordinator in September 2020, where I oversaw the live-to-site process for vendors of Kohl’s. I then became an Allocation Analyst in August of 2021, also through Kohl’s, in the Fine Jewelry & Watches department! My daily tasks included analyzing data to help my office manage inventory and drives sales, making sure the correct merchandise is allocated to the right locations, and collaborating with cross functional teams and vendors to innovate ideas and grow profit. At the end of May 2022, I was placed as an Assistant Merchant within the Fine Jewelry & Watches office. This is where I had the opportunity to grow on the merchant side of the business, staying really engaged with product and assortment for my team. In April 2023, I was promoted to the Associate Merchant role for the Sephora at Kohl's Fragrance office. I have been embracing this newer partnership between the two companies and cultivating a meaningful impact and relationship for over 40 fragrance brands. I have been thoroughly enjoying these career opportunities for a great company and will continue to expand my knowledge of the fashion industry and explore my skills within my fields!
