Sakaerat Biosphere Reserve, Thailand

Lived and worked in rural Thailand in order to assist in research and data collection of Thailand bat ecology and road mortality surveys. Work included hiking, set up/take-down of bat mist nets, retrieve bats from nets and properly handle animals for identification, road cruising on scooter to search for animal road mortalities and collect data on specimens, surroundings, and environment. All often in extreme heat and environmental conditions.

Completed various endangered wildlife surveys as assigned within mollusks, amphibians, and native fish taxa. Worked collaboratively with federal and state government partners to effectively collect data on private and public lands.
