As an Environment student majoring in Ecological Determinants of Health in Society at McGill University with a minor in Microbiology and Immunology at McGill University I am passionate about the intersectionality between the environment and healthcare.I currently work as a research assistant within Loyola's School of Social Work, which has allowed me to learn and develop qualitative research methods, including conducting detailed analyses of qualitative data, synthesizing findings, and contribute to the writing of results sections for academic publications. This experience has deepened my understanding of social issues and enhanced my ability to effectively communicate complex research findings.On campus, I am part of the editorial team for McGill's multimedia environment academic journal, The Terra, which allows me to pursue my passions for sustainability and writing. Additionally, I am a member of the McGill varsity badminton team, where I am not only a player but also heavily involved in fundraising and outreach. This participation enables me to pursue my passion for the sport at a collegiate level and engage with the community of Quebec. Moreover, I work as a private badminton instructor through McGill, refining my management, teaching, and organizational skills while sharing my dedication to badminton.I am eager to get involved with research and internships to broaden my skillsets and gain real-world experiences in the fields of social determinants of health, global health, and more.
