I am a student Account Planner for the AAF's National Student Advertising Competition. We are working with a national sponsor to create a new campaign to help the company reach their objective goals. Because this is a national competition the information divulged from the company is top secret until we go to compete. I was responsible for collecting research to help gain insights that the company might not have realized. I am also going to help create our final plan book along with the rest of the students from the class.

I am an intern at Allied and I work specifically with Sony Pictures. I do more promotions and creating events. I get to help my supervising publicists create events that promote an upcoming movie by giving away promotional items and possible advanced screening passes for the same movie. I research companies and organizations all around the greater Chicago area, while also researching our partnering markets to create events. I get to work with the other interns to bounce ideas around and also helping out the other publicists while their interns are out. I also get to attend these events and events created by other interns to take pictures for each studio we represent.

Working with brands such as ConAgra, Sprint, and Anolon to place products in television shows and new movies. Keeping an inventory of products we have sent out to each production site. Reading scripts for new movies to see if they would be a good fit for our clients and highlight where to place them. Watching tv to capture scenes where our products we're mentioned or shown.

I was a Bar Tender at a bar and grill in my hometown. Being a bar tender came with great responsibility. I was considered a manager while on duty so I made sure that the servers got all of their side work done while also making sure they gave their customers 100% satisfaction. I was there to make sure that any problems we might have on the floor was resolved and that there were no future problems of the same nature. I took inventory on the days I was there and I made sure that the owner got any important messages he might have missed while he was away. I also was in charge of taking the servers washouts and putting them all together. If I was working at night I was also in charge of counting the money at the end of the night and running those days reports.
