I am currently a student at the University of Alabama studying Psychology with minors in both French and General Business. I am also on the STEM Path to the MBA, so I will be achieving my MBA one year after I complete my undergraduate degree. After my MBA, I am hoping to attain a PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology to become an Industrial-Organizational Psychologist. I am currently a part of a research lab that is researching developmental psychopathology with a focus on ADHD and Anxiety in adolescents and young adults. I have always been greatly interested in psychopathology, and this research involvement has given me the opportunity to dive even deeper in my learning of psychology. In my free time, I do lots of tutor-based volunteering. I do Reading Allies Tuscaloosa, which requires two 30-minute sessions a week of working on various literacy skills with a young student. Additionally, I have served as both a volunteer and a class leader for Culverhouse’s LIFT Youth Tutoring to provide and coordinate free tutoring for those who need it throughout Tuscaloosa. The absolute highlight of my college career thus far has been my extensive volunteer work with many different amazing elementary students.
