Teaching Artists International, Inc. (TAI) is a 501(c)(3) that connects musicians, music educators, and composers to social music programs internationally. The goal of TAI is to develop the next generation of global citizen musicians through cultural exchanges that support music education around the world. We have established partnerships in Central & South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Trained through Graydin's The Anatomy: Foundation Coaching Course & The Journey: Advanced Coaching Course. Coached Longy undergraduate and graduate students across the conservatory totaling more than 150 individual coaching hours + 2 Foundational Coaching Summer Courses.

Taught Graduate-Level courses in the Master of Arts in Teaching degree program and the Master of Music in Music Education program.Courses taught:-Introduction to Pedagogy for Performers-El Sistema Principles I-El Sistema Principles II-Side by Side Companion Course

• Taught elementary instrumental music full-time for grades 4-6 at 4 different public elementary schools within Glendale Unified School District. Approximately 800 students across 4 schools, which included dual-immersion programs of Korean, Japanese, and Armenian.• Instruments taught include beginning flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, french horn, & percussion in addition to a variety of ensembles directed including wind ensemble, beginning orchestra, intermediate orchestra, and advanced orchestra.• Served as guest conductor and rehearsal coach for GUSD 2018 Elementary Honor Band

Based in Santa Barbara, California, iCAN is a nonprofit organization that provides nearly 3,200 students a year with access to high quality visual arts and music programing that they would otherwise be without. Through the unwavering support of parents, members of the community and partnerships with the Santa Barbara Unified School District and City of Santa Barbara, iCAN programs exist in nine sites throughout the community._______________________________________________________________________________Responsibilities: Oversee the Music Program at the Franklin Elementary School (10 team members) to ensure iCAN’s philosophy and mission are practiced consistently throughout all elements of the program. 
 Support the Program Director by establishing expectations for student musical, behavioral and academic progress. Support the development of the program and employ excellent, age-appropriate pedagogical teaching methods within a repertoire consistent with iCAN’s principles and incorporating best practices found in national and international El Sistema-inspired programs. Supervise iCAN Music Teaching Artists, site staff and volunteers, ensuring the highest level of unified program implementation possible. 
 Together with the Program Director, regularly evaluate Teaching Artists’ daily lesson plans and site staff performance, including periodic written, oral and video reviews. Collaborate with the iCAN Music Program Director, school staff and outside evaluators in program evaluation processes in areas of data generation, collection, documentation, and analysis. 
 Collaborate with the iCAN Music Program Director and all Music Program staff at the Franklin Elementary School to maintain excellent communication with parents/guardians and promote their engagement. Serve daily as a Teaching Artist within the after-school program: classes include beginning/intermediate clarinet, basic musicianship, and beginning conducting

YOLA at LACHSA is the third site of the YOLA initiative. Nestled on the campus of Cal State LA, the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA), has provided powerful learning experiences for high school students within LA County in order for them to embrace and excel in the arts and academics while working towards their visions of the future. Located in the Rampart District, YOLA (Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles) at HOLA (Heart of Los Angeles) serves hundreds of students with intensive after-school orchestral instruction five days a week. Classes include music creativity, singing and solfège, ensemble rehearsals, and an hour of academic tutoring daily. Private clarinet and saxophone instructor for students of various ages. Duties included honor band preparation, learning the art of proper practice habits, and perpetuating the love of playing and making music.
