My name is Gabrielle Pennington and I am 23 years old. I currently live in Clio, with my parents and little sister. My sister Breanna is my best friend and the one person I look up to the most. We are 18 months apart and she means the absolute world to me. My parents have raised me to always do my best, don’t ever quit and to dream big. I graduated from Clio in 2011, from there I went straight to Mott Community College for two years and got an associates in arts and now I have been attending U of M since the spring of 2013. When all is said and done, I will have graduated in 2017 with a bachelors in Elementary Education and a minor in math, language arts and early childhood. My whole life I have wanted to be a teacher. I thrive on helping people and engaging the young minds of our future. There may only be a select few people who are pro going into education and I stick with it for those people. I try my best to ignore the negativity and focus on the end result and how I can impact our youth. When I am not going to school I work 30-35 hours at Buffalo Wild Wings as a server. Some things I like to do in my free time are Netflix and chill, scrapbook, play soccer, coach soccer and be with my boyfriend and family. Something interesting about me is that I am OCD, all of my personal items have to be absolutely perfect. My clothes even follow that instruction, they are all color coordinated and either nicely hung up or folded.
