Working with the Project Champion from Pfizer and the project team to deliver a prototype for ADME and PD data to semantically tag unstructured text and return it to the eLN in use. The newly created ADME and PD data ontologies , an interim deliverable, have now been added to BAO and are available for all to use. The successful conclusion of Phase 1 in October has sparked ideas for a second Phase, that will start in January 2021.

Project Manager for Unified Data Model (UDM), a Pistoia Alliance project. The aim of the Unified Data Model (UDM) project was to create and publish an open and freely available data format for storage and exchange of experimental information about compound synthesis and testing. This project delivered 3 versions of UDM each one improved responding to feedback from the community. The UDM exchange format is now available and is being used to enable sharing of experimental data and so improve collaboration. Further work on UDM will be driven by a community led activity.

Project Manager working for Pistoia, a Pharmaceutical alliance with the remit to lower the barriers to R&D innovation by improving the interoperability of R&D business processes through precompetitive collaboration. My project, Chemical Safety Library, has delivered a prototype tool to capture, store and download hazardous reaction information used by scientists to improve safety in the labs. Working with 6 major pharmaceutical companies and academic institutions I am now working on ways to exploit the ever growing data source and understand its value which will drive future plans at the end of the prototype.During 2020, Worked with Chemical Abstracts Services (CAS) to develop a successful partnership to increase the value of the prototype, including hosting and developing an improved tool within CAS.

Working with suppliers and 3rd parties, I built teams with the correct skills and task managed to deliver on the agreed priorities. - In response to change in business strategy , working with key stakeholders I led the business case and start up of a programme that harmonised processes, saved $1 million per year by reducing system landscape and removed compliance risks . - led a programme that delivered a new imaging platform , enabling pathologists to peer review images using the new system, instead of needing pathologist at each site, and support new scientific techniques.- Task managed a diverse virtual team made up of several suppliers, to resolve a high risk compliance issue when some files of regulatory data went missing.

IS Lead, reporting to VP for Global Safety Assessment and responsible for all aspects of IS in the new building facility in Shanghai , where AZ had formed an alliance with the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica. Starting with a plot of land in the planning and design phase and ending with an operational IS team , able to run systems and processes according to AZ and Regulatory standards for data capture of toxicology studies. - Successfully influenced the design of the computer room in the new building and ensured it passed external inspection.- Captured requirements from scientists and used to create a map of processes and systems needed to deliver data capture, analysis and reporting on Toxicology studies carried out in the new facility. - Drove the purchase , delivery and build of the necessary infrastructure in the facility in Shanghai - Recruited and arranged training to build a competent and motivated team , that could run the operational requirements .- Led the change process for local resources and provided coaching to ensure new ways of working were adopted , critical to the overall success.
