I work with fellow commissioners to provide a variety of services and educational and cultural programs (Rockville LGBTQ+ Pride, diversity leadership training, topical forums, voter education and registration, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration) that promote global thinking, encourage civic awareness, and reflect the rich diversity found in Rockville. The HRC also advises the Mayor and Council on human rights issues that may affect residents.In conjunction with this role, I have also served as the HRC's liaison to Rockville's Cultural Arts Commission (HRC-CAC Liaison), and as Rockville's designated contact for the Municipal Equality Index (a project of Human Rights Campaign).

Neurodiversity-affirming music lessons, tutoring, and educational services based in Montgomery County, MDOver the past nine years, I have tutored a variety of elementary school subjects, Pre-algebra through Algebra 2, and SAT Prep. In addition to academic tutoring, I give beginners' ukulele, voice, and songwriting lessons. I am extremely thankful to have grown up with parents that are both teachers— my father is a physics professor at Montgomery College, and my mother is a public school teacher who has taught every grade from kindergarten through high school. My learning and growing process as a student, a tutor, and a music teacher has been greatly influenced by seeing them in action. I am also Autistic and have ADHD; I believe that my life-long experience as a neurodivergent student has enabled me to help other students with identifying learning challenges and finding creative solutions.

DC Teens Action aims to unify students from all over the DC area for social action and civic engagement projects across a broad range of causes and experiences. We are fiscally sponsored by 501 (c)3 organization Autistic Women & Nonbinary Network (AWN).

I facilitated the campaign’s fellowship program for high school and college students, through which I led training sessions for the campaign fellows and hosted guest speakers for weekly educational sessions. I also developed connections with community organizations, school clubs, and small businesses for campaign events. My role helped lead the campaign to Primary Election victory through effective digital and in-person organizing efforts.

I led presentations to get synagogues and Jewish organizations involved in advocating for the Equality Act, and I led workshops to help students write to their senators in support of the Equality Act. I also co-managed communications with partner organizations for the Equality Act campaign and I co-created slideshows, letter-writing templates, and other educational materials.

I provided non-medical home care services to one client, focused on home skills development, personal care, and community integration.

I led music for the entire student body and parents during the morning assembly, and taught songs in Hebrew and English to the Pre-K through 3rd-grade classes.

I performed family-friendly original and cover songs with ukulele at RIO Washingtonian Center.

I was a counselor for 4-7 year old campers at an arts and expression summer camp in DC. I also led music activities for the group.
