With advanced software tools and expertise in aerodynamics, heat transfer and energy simulation, BuildWind assists city planners and building designers in creating healthier, safer and more sustainable urban and industrial environments.Academic works in pressure wave oscillations with two-phases flows, dynamics of solid propellants and altimetric reconstruction by photogrammetric techniques. Research and PhD at UMONSPerformed experimental tests on a 30 kW furnace in flameless combustion regime using methane, coke oven gas, blast furnace gas, biogas and syngas. Investigated the effect of the air preheating temperature, the influence of the injectors diameter, the limits of some fuels and performed in-furnace sampling. Deep study on Mass Flow Controllers, Gas Analyzers calibration and stability, and interfacing between lab measurement systems and computers. Wide use of an Intensified UV Camera for OH visualization: developed good skills in image post-processing and setting of the camera apparatus. Acquired skills on correct use and setup of sampling probes and pyrometers.
