Through my time in Berlin, I was able to engross myself in its culture and learn about the deep history the country has. By visiting the Berlin Wall, East Side Gallery, Jewish Museum, the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe and countless other places, I was able to develop a better understanding of what it was like to live in Germany during World War II. Also, through the guidance of one of our instructors, I was able to learn about Germany's sustainability initiatives. By the end of the trip, I felt that I had barely touched the surface of what Germany has to teach and offer individuals. If anything, I am more inspired than ever to return to Germany in the future to continue my learning.
