About Gabriel Pătru

Ever since 2007 when I landed my first job as Strategic Planner in a small advertising agency, I find the same relentless passion for delivering added value.As years have passed, I have gained experience in creative, research, media, digital, branding and management.Actual results are the outcome of a well motivated and inspired team. So I always start every project by making sure we have the right mindset and motivation. I am definitely a team-player. Following this belief we have delivered a Gold Effie for Lowe&Partners ( currently Mullen Lowe) after a long period of no awarded achievements.I was responsible for implementing the rebranding of MEC into Wavemaker and getting the agency in Top 3 biggest media agencies in Romania while I was their Head of Strategy.As President of IAB Romania, we have put together a team that restructured the way of working within the Association and we had our first set of projects - see MIXX Awards - that got in the same room creative agencies, digital agencies, performance agencies, tech & media agencies,publishers and clients. The P&L numbers had looked better than ever and people from several member agencies started offering their time&involvement for free, motivated to make a change for the better within the digital ecosystem in Romania. I must admit, I take much pride in this and I am most grateful to these fabulous people.The list of smaller, yet meaningful achievements such as pitch presentation, client work, mentoring younger colleague, teaching about Strategy in Universities in Bucharest and growing the team is longer.I am open to embarking new projects as long as we share the same values and result orientated perspective.
