About Gabriel Pfeuffer-Ferguson

Gabriel is a proud alum of Florida State University, having earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences (Urban Studies) Magna Cum Laude with minors in Education, Innovation, Population Studies, and Sociology. He is a current Ed.M. Candidate at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, planning to obtain this degree in Education Policy and Analysis with a concentration in Higher Education.Gabriel's passion for social justice and advocacy within the education system stems from his experiences during his youth, when he witnessed first-hand how those with minority identities can struggle to thrive in an environment aimed at providing a service to anyone, regardless of who they were. After conducting research on access to professional development for educators during his first year at Florida State, combined with classes on political discourse, sociology, and urban and regional planning, Gabriel became even more enamored with the subject. Gabriel took this passion into direct advocacy within both the FSU Student Senate as well as Florida's State Legislature. Gabriel is a driven student that selected intentional involvements in the areas of Higher Education, Academic Recruitment, Political Activism, and Public Speaking. He served in several capacities on campus, such as being a University Ambassador, President of the Academic Recruitment Organization, Chair of the Presidential Scholars Program, Treasurer of Power of WE, and Vice President of Public Relations for the Garnet and Gold Key Leadership Honorary. When he is not working on his academics, you can find Gabriel attending rap concerts, maintaining his Wordle streak, and traveling across the United States.
