Assisting the US's largest and longest-running cartoon and humor newspaper with developing new creative workflows, improving outdated systems, and transitioning to a new generation of leadership.

Designed and facilitated diversity & inclusion trainings and workshops for K-12 educators, administrators, and students. Consulted on policies & procedures, curriculum, and parent and community engagement.

Worked for the Human Rights Defense Center's "Prison Ecology Project" (PEP). Developed a nationwide network of incarcerated individuals, scholars, and online research collaborators addressing the environmental injustice in the US’s mass incarceration system. Consulted on strategic planning and research methodology. Remotely managed a team of academic researchers for a national mapping project. Conducted federal and state legislative and budgetary research. Secured project funding through co-writing multiple grants. Developed and coordinated multiple regional organizing campaigns with a national network of collaborators including currently and previously incarcerated people, community activists, academics, journalists, and students.

I assisted the Kirwan Institute with a major interdisciplinary research project evaluating OSU’s nearly 150 diversity-related initiatives. Under the guidance of the Senior Faculty Research Advisor, and along with one other co-investigator, we worked with the undergraduate, graduate, faculty and staff communities to collaboratively analyze these initiatives and generate a recommendation report for the Office of the President and the Board of Trustees. I generated a multi-level project management timeline, designed and built an online information collection and storage infrastructure, and provided advice on the project’s goals and research methods.

Designed and taught undergraduate courses including: “American Identity in the World”; “Science and Technology in American Society”; “Introduction to Political Theory” and “Sustainability and Social Movements."

TfC offers workshops and trainings internationally on leadership, group process, direct education, workshop design, and practical anti-oppression work to groups ranging from unions and student groups, to large NGO’s. I supported a number of their outreach and engagement campaigns.
