Gabriel Simonet resides at the flimsy intersection of Science, Liberal Arts, and a healthy disregard for jargon, where innovative exploration meets playful creative chaos. For a living. As an MBA with a professional background in Marketing, Business, and Technology, he's somewhat of a mutant, half creative, half analytical and half funny. Initially groomed to be an engineer, he chose to graduate in Communications, believing it would be challenging to work in IT from Uruguay to the world. He was utterly wrong; throughout his career, he almost exclusively worked for IT companies. He later pursued postgraduate studies in Marketing and earned an MBA, primarily to prove that he could do it.During his career, Gabriel worked both in service and product companies, for international Clients, Businesses, Entrepreneurs and Internet Startups, helping them develop digital strategies, improve products & user experience, achieve objectives, design & market brands and -also important- make money. Gabriel is a curious and creative guy, an innovation junkie, a generalist ninja, a cross-referencer, a challenging manager and an accomplished focaccia bread baker. He excels at making links between stuff and ideas, which is a very useful superpower. When nobody is looking, he writes stories and composes music and lyrics (he's both a published author and broadcasted producer), in a more-than-a-hobby but less-than-a-job kind of way.He likes a free-styled Design Thinking approach for Business and Products Innovation (he's an IDEO fan), as much as he is convinced that -like Siegel and Gale say-: "Simple is Smart".He's not simple, nor the smartest guy in the room, but he'll give you a hell of a fight if you challenge him on that.
