I am a project lead with about three years of experience working on information systems security projects. Projects that I've worked on range from mitigation and remediation of high and medium security risks identified in third-party vulnerability assessments to the total replacement of a vendor suite of security products for a large organization wanting to leverage their Microsoft E5 license for cost savings (Endpoint Protection, endpoint DLP, migration from on-prem internet security proxies to a cloud-based solution, leveraging Microsoft Sentinel, etc.).While my background is diverse, in my current role, I found a love of information systems security, and the knowledge and skills that I have gained have enabled me to gain certifications such as the CompTIA Security+ and I have provisionally passed the CISSP exam which will make me an Associate of ISC2 once my application is processed (endorsement to be completed next March). My hope for the future is to continue to build knowledge and experience in information security and project management to empower business success, and to personally continue to demonstrate security knowledge through earning the Certified Cloud Security Practitioner (CCSP) and other Microsoft Azure industry certifications.My skills include: Security Project Management Strategic Consulting & Decision Support Data Analysis & Presentation of Metrics that Matter Solution Design & Testing Problem-Solving Requirements Definition & ManagementOutside of work, a lot of my free time is spent learning languages.
