Leader of the creative team for the UK division of the worlds largest automotive services company. Operating as an internal design agency to support the creative needs of marketing teams across the many brands within the group.Responsible for:• Creative direction for advertising campaigns (both print & digital), sales collateral, product launches, events, web and UI design, videos, and interior design.• Brand guardian for 11 different brands, defining guidelines and ensuring consistency across all internal and external activity.• Managing a team of two creative designers, a web designer, a video designer and a copywriter. Creative oversight of the design studio, consisting of a studio manager, three graphic designers and a bids & tender designer.Key projects:• Worked with internal stake holders and team members to develop internal work-flow across the whole marketing department. Implemented effective briefing process to clearly define requirements upfront, having clear project ownership and good working practices to ensure that work hit the brief and was delivered on time, every time.• Re-branded parent company from Manheim Europe to Cox Automotive. Rolled out new look and feel across all customer collateral and to all touch points for the 2,000+ employees.• Launched Modix, Incadea and Xtime into the UK market. These three global automotive retail service brands operate in over 100 countries, working with 30 vehicle manufacturers and over 16,000 dealerships.

Promoted to manage a team of six designers creating print, digital, web and video content.• Worked with the prestigious design agency Elmwood to refresh the Manheim brand. Implemented and created a comprehensive set of design templates which enabled the team to deliver business as usual work with far greater consistently and pace.• Developed in-house video capability allowing the creation of high quality videos while reducing costs significantly.

Web designer for in-house marketing department of the European division of the worlds largest vehicle auction company. Hand coded web content across a wide range of sites, created HTML email newsletters, flash banners and other online advertising. I re-designed and rewrote the front-end code from the ground up for the companies flagship website which received over 3.5 million hits a month and won three prestigious motor industry awards.

Print and web graphic design freelancing, also subcontracted for several design agencies including:• Tiger Print (a division of Hallmark) working on Marks & Spencer children’s products & packaging.• DogTooth Design, working on information panels for heritage visitor attraction sites.
