Prior to joining the Brunswick Group, Gabriel was part of the South-east Asia chapter of the Economist Corporate Network, within the Economist Intelligence Unit. He was directly engaged with the programming, editorial and research work that goes into briefing its exclusively C-suite members on global business-critical issues at play in the region - through the conceptualisation, development and delivery of actionable management reports and briefs, presentations and facilitating C-suite workshops.Prior to joining the Economist Corporate Network, he was at the International Institute for Strategic Studies - supporting the IISS’ research into, and high-level roundtable planning and delivery surrounding regional energy security and strategic policy matters.From 2016 to 2017, he was also editor-at-large of Foreign Brief, a platform aimed at delivering geopolitical and foreign policy analysis via digital channels. Here, he guided the development of the in-house style guide, and lent his expertise to edit and curate content on international relations, and global geostrategic developments - particularly in the Indo-Pacific theatre, the region of his specialisation.Gabriel has a bachelor of arts majoring in international relations, and a master’s degree in strategic studies, both from the Australian National University.
