About Galanda A. Brooker, Mit, Pmp, Ryt
I have worked 20+ years in IT in various positions of influence and leadership. That didn't satisfy my need to serve and I nearly went to nursing school 3 times, going so far as to complete the pre-requisites for admission. The 15+ years of teaching didn't fill the desire to provide direct impact either. What did resonate with me was coaching. For the last 10 years I have been providing coaching services part-time. I have decided to shift my efforts, leverage my industry experience and provide mental awareness coaching and training to professional women in the health and IT industries. I have seen first hand the breakdown and burnout due to mental overload in the workplace and I know that it can be reduced through emotional awareness coaching that will contribute to better overall mental health and better decision-making. I'm excited to bring a framework that combines what I love most: mindfulness, yoga philosophy, neuroscience and more to help women shift out of simply existing to thriving.
