Learning about people and how they interact with each other in the media is something I have always been interested in. It has led me to my passion for meeting new people and exploring new communities. I love forming relationships with the people I meet - I find forming new relationships very beneficial. Meeting new people means you can rely on those new relationships on any day, especially the ones that push you out of your comfort zone. All of these traits have led me to where I am today by pursuing a degree in public relations.Iowa State University shaped me into the person I am today; that person being a lover of all things exciting and new. Throughout my time at Iowa State being involved in various organizations, I have developed great leadership skills and a goal-oriented attitude. My additional coursework which includes a minimum of 120 credit hours of public relations, advertising, journalism, mass communication, and marketing classes, have helped me become proficient in having creative abilities, strong communication and writing skills, and time management while still keeping a growth mindset.I believe my education and experience within the Public Relations industry has helped me transform into the hardworking and motivated individual I am today.
