Serving as President of the ACI Student Chapter at the University of Balamand was an incredibly fulfilling experience, especially as I had the opportunity to work closely with my fellow civil engineering classmates. I led our chapter in organizing a range of educational events, including seminars and workshops, to advance our understanding of concrete technology and practices. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we ensured our classmates could still participate in many ACI conventions virtually, free of charge. This access allowed them to engage with a series of insightful seminars on the latest developments in concrete and earn certificates of attendance, adding significant value to their professional profiles. One of the highlights of my leadership was receiving an invitation to present at the 2022 ACI Spring Convention in Orlando, Florida. We were recognized as one of the most successful student chapters, and I had the honor of sharing our strategies for effective organization and member recruitment with a broader audience, showcasing our achievements and contributing to the growth of ACI's student engagement.
