Manage and direct sourcing, procurement of OS&E, FF&E, and F&B activities, in-bound/out-bound logistics, warehouse/receiving operations, company travel agency and travel policy, capital and equipment leases, property leases, IT equipment and services, building and facilities maintenance agreements, inventory and F&B cost-control operations, retail merchandise, and asset liquidations. Responsible for creating, administrating and delivering an approved compendium of FF&E and OS&E goods and related services for the MGM Cotai project, scheduled for opening Q1 2016.

Manage and direct pre-opening procurement activities, write and implement company-wide procurement related policy and procedures, establish procurement organizational structure and hire and train grand-opening procurement staff. Select, configure and implement procurement system during pre-opening. Responsible for developing and implementing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) initiatives for Hotel, Casino, and Restaurant supplies and services at all MGM Resorts properties. TCO initiatives include performing extensive commodity research, spend aggregation and SKU rationalization across multiple properties owned and operated by MGM Resorts, enterprise-wide RFP’s, contract negotiation and implementation, and execute on multiple non-price cost savings levers to achieve maximum value. Direct spend oversight of over US$240 million annually.

Developed, negotiated and implemented company-wide contracts, service agreements and weekly/monthly bids on behalf of all MGM Resorts properties. Contracts included F&B edible items and operating supplies, hotel supplies & equipment, facilities/maintenance service agreements, freight/courier services, and office equipment & supplies. Total spend oversight of over US$500 million annually.

Managed all aspects of purchasing for 3 resorts in Primm, NV (Owned by MGM Resorts International at the time). Operational areas serviced include: hotel (2600 rooms), casino (128,000 s/f), F&B (10 outlets), 2 golf courses, employee housing, freshwater & wastewater maintenance facilities, and multiple attractions and entertainment venues. Direct spend oversight of over US$70 million annually.

Managed all aspects of F&B purchasing with annual direct spend oversight of over $20 million during pre¬opening and post-opening period. Developed and implemented new distribution channels and procurement practices to compensate for deficiencies in existing supplier base. Actively participated with the F&B division in menu development, food cost analysis, and cost controls.

Facilitated Group-wide (then Mirage Resorts, Inc.) RFP’s and purchasing contracts for Hotel, Gaming, and Food & Beverage supplies and services. Issued Bellagio pre-opening purchase orders for various commodities: Engineering/Facilities, Printing/Collateral and Restaurant supplies & equipment.

Assisted in day-to-day purchasing activities including conducting RFP’s, issuing purchase orders, coordinate in-bound logistics, order expediting and reconciling delivery and invoice disputes.
