Manage the efficiency and execution of the procurement and facility team’s function. Manage all aspects of the IT environment including HelpDesk and server support. Oversee all purchasing and operating activity of the campus by controlling budgets, sourcing and pricing strategies in accordance to policy. Oversee building maintenance included preventative maintenance, unplanned emergency maintenance, as well as security operations.

Manage the operations of the network, servers and desktop computers of students and staff. Procure all technology resources for both campuses. Oversee technology implementations in both academic and administrative areas. Manage and administer Active Directory and Exchange environment. Provide first and second level user support and resolve issues related to user workstations, servers and network elements. Advise school management on technology investments by providing product research and comparison. Create and enforce policies and procedures which support data integrity and security. Provide leadership and mentoring of school’s IT staff and services.

Frontline support of all computing systems: IBM hardware, Windows 2000 and XP o/s, Office 2000 and Outlook 2003. Troubleshooting network connectivity of workstations and Intermec handheld devices, as well as, VPN and dialup connections. Active Directory password resets and computer management. Tier I support of Pivotal (MyBOSS and BOSS360) and Citrix 9.2 environments. Troubleshoot proprietary inventory management system at the workstation and handheld levels and escalate support issues to second level development team. Setup and troubleshoot user accounts on the Blackberry Enterprise Server and Blackberry handhelds. Assist in training of new users on system applications by giving new user orientations at the branch level.

Responsible for tier I and tier II support of server environment and network troubleshooting in our LAN/WAN environment. Create, change, and delete network and email user ids within Active Directory and Exchange 2003. Maintain security access and security matrix for company’s networked file shares and UNIX based ERP. Continually work with vendors on voice and data solutions in terms of contract and accountability of service, including changes to, establishing new and canceling data and voice lines. Setup, configure and troubleshoot print solutions on the network. Procure all technology resources for the organization.

Responsible for tier I and tier II support of Microsoft application software and network troubleshooting in a LAN/WAN environment for in-house staff, remote sites, and national sales force. Install, configure, and maintain all computing needs, including personal computers, mobile units, and paging solutions. Maintain security access and security matrix for company’s networked file shares and UNIX based ERP. Setup, configure and monitor UNIX print queues for ERP. Maintain and configure PBX for corporate office and help manage voice at remote sites, including cross connects on punch blocks. Continually work with vendors on voice and data solutions in terms of contract and accountability of service, including changes to, establishing new and canceling data and voice lines.
