• Lead a team of experts as the Head of the Food Contact Materials (FCM) Section and food testing unit, overseeing all activities ,testing, analysis, and certification.• Develop and implement comprehensive testing protocols and methodologies to ensure the safety and compliance of food contact materials with national and international standards.• Manage and coordinate a diverse range of projects related to chemicals and polymers engineering.• Conduct thorough analysis and interpretation of test results, providing expert recommendations and technical guidance to internal teams, industry partners, and government agencies such as Ministry of Economy.• Collaborate with regulatory authorities, industry stakeholders and research institutions. • Provide technical expertise and support guidance to internal teams, industry partners, and government agencies including compliance, risk assessment, and performance evaluation.• Participate in the development and revision of national and international standards. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as, scientists, engineers quality assurance, research and development, product safety. • Stay abreast of technological advancements in the field of polymers/plastics engineering and apply innovative solutions to enhance the safety and sustainability of food contact materials.

-Receive, label and analyze samples.-Design and execute laboratory testing according standard procedures, make observations and interpret findings.-Conduct experiments under defined conditions to verify/reject various types of hypotheses using refined scientific methods.-Organize and store all chemicals substances, fluids and compressed gases according to safety instructions.-Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility-Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies.-Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
