Managing and leading a team of back-end, front-end and automation engineers that took part in an effort to develop the company's next generation technology. Working closely with the company's founder, we developed a cutting-edge DSL transpiler, a web component framework based on React, and an innovative WYSIWYG projectional editor.During this time I also interviewed and hired senior and junior engineers, and mentored junior engineers on their way to becoming full stack developers.

Product owner for internal and external products in the Google Cloud Platform.I worked closely with teams in Mountain View, Boston, Sydney, London, and Dublin, to offer Google customers a suite of outstanding cloud computing, networking and storage products.My responsibilities included leadership in a team of 25 engineers who developed a proprietary software-managed network for Google’s infrastructure, monitoring systems, optimization and traffic-shaping systems, etc.During this time I gained deep familiarity with Google’s networking, computing and storage infrastructures, proprietary networking protocols, and Google’s custom-built hardware.I also gained familiarity with Google’s big data tools and practices.During my time there, Google’s management decided to turn its internal infrastructure into a publicly available cloud platform, in order to improve its economy of scale. I was part of a small team of product managers who led this effort, building customer offerings, defining APIs and user facing interfaces, creating branding and marketing materials, meeting and interviewing strategic customers, and guiding engineering managers towards these goals.
