It was all so obvious that my passions for cycling and engineering combined with my Formula 1 experience were going to lead me to this:Creating my own brand of custom bicycles made to fit each custumer and their objectives.My creations are all made by hand near Toulouse, France following a detailled exchange with the customer concerning their needs, preferences and their measurements obtained during a bike fit. Then each bike is designed on a dedicated software before manufacture.This process allows me to provide high quality bikes that are completely unique.

I am the production manager at Gould Engineering, I am in charge of a team of 30 people.My goal is to make sure we deliver Formula 1 composites parts to the highest quality standard in the timeframe we are given.The manufacturing process includes machining, laminating, trimming, fitting and inspection.

►Studied the integration of new Euromot 3B engines equipped with emission control technology such as DPF and SCR technology on self propelled sprayers.Within the R&D office, I designed and modified the machines for these more stringent exhaust systems on Solidworks. I dealt with the suppliers to find out the best solutions, launched orders or asked for invoices for new equipment.

►Design and manufacture of a carbon fibre nose for a racing car.Worked on the design on SolidEdge as well as the production process of a light weight carbon fibre nose to adapt the Gould front wing on a non Gould hill climbing race car. Made the pattern, inserts and glass fibre moulds.►Compilation of laminate books for composite parts.I wrote some laminate books detailling the manufacturing process of many composite parts for the Gould GR55 hillclimb racing car.►Set up of a cutting machine.Started a cutting machine, set it, tested it and wrote a tutorial for the use of its command software.

I designed samples of Steel 4340 in order to test the Baushinger effect. Carried out testing on an Instron machine and started the analysis of the data collected during a specific cyclic test of tension-compression.
