He is the founder of RVA.js Meetup group, the RVAdev Slack group for developers and he is also a founding organizer of the Richmond JavaScript Conference that started in 2017. Because we are a niche/boutique firm our focus and reach into the talent pool are much different than recruiting firms that handle all IT positions. Generalist IT recruiting firms have a focus that is a mile wide and can help with every type of IT need imaginable, but they are only able to go a few inches deep into the talent pool because they are always bouncing around with each opportunity. At Recruiting Concepts our focus is only a couple of inches wide; but that allows us to go a mile deep into the talent pool to develop relationships with people who are passively looking for the great opportunities that are out there. We also choose to work with people who are extremely passionate about their career and their work.
